ABOUT ME
Abby Gumpper is a New York based Actress originally and proudly from Pittsburgh, PA. She is a graduate of Pace University's Performance Ensemble Acting program. In Junior High-School, Abby opted out of a reading class in order to try out the drama club. Best decision ever! She found healing through acting and at the age of 12 decided she wanted to use theatre to heals others. Now, Abby views acting as an opportunity to grow closer to humanity, discover new experiences, and bring important stories to life. As well as focusing on her actor training, Abby spent most of her undergraduate focused on creating original works of theatre. Through that love, she was given the opportunity to premier original works of theatre at an Off-Broadway venue and in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria (June 2018).
Since graduating, Abby made a pivot towards film and TV. She worked as a full time student on both seasons of the "Gossip Girl: Reboot" earning her entry into the Screen Actors Guild. Abby has starred in two feature length films, "The Undead" currently available on Amazon Prime Video, and "Highway-905". She has done various short films, web series, and proof of concept films. Recently, Abby made her Theater for the New City (Off-Off-Broadway) debut in the rock opera "Killin' Republicans".
Abby currently studies weekly with booking coach Amy Lyndon and is represented by Stephanie Massman of Parmeter Group.
